This game has the worst PVP i've ever played
It's literally a case of use shotguns, fusion rifles, snipers, or supers or else you lose. Then there's the heavy weapons on top of that. What do all of these have in common? One hit kill weapons, and they require no skill. Coming from the developers that made Halo, one of the best PVP games it's just dissapointing.

agreed with op i enjoy the game overall but the pvp is a joke. not even close to balanced still enjoyable however terrible.

Bungie are catering to casuals here, nothing more nothing less. The easier it is for someone to get kills in PvP the more likely they are to keep playing. It just sucks playing every game knowing at some point someone will have their super up and will kill you. Or someone will have "insert OP one hit kill item here" and you'll lose your streak.

If you don't like the game, don't play. Rocket launchers, machine guns, shotguns, etc, are part of the game. If you hate them, just stop playing, no one likes a hater.

laggers and high RPM noob rifles are the only thing that ruin pvp in this game.

Because snipers, shotguns, rockets, and swords were ok in Halo. Keep in mind, a headshot was a definite kill in Halo with precision weapons too.

Nope, you gotta use your noodle to avoid the bad situations. heck, today, thanks to the Queen's bounties, I had to switch to my PvE weapon, which is a Hand Cannon. Gotta admit, I did almost as good with it as I do with my PvP main. Granted, I did try my hand at a Scout Rifle.... and that wasn't pretty. Still, there are ways to avoid the bottom end of the list and avoid the secondaries altogether.

i have fun with it. But it is pretty sad compared with how halo is. playing destiny only made me want a halo game even more. I generally do really good in PvP but its still annoying

Shotguns killing you? Play smart, don't run into a building recklessly. Snipers killing you? They require skill, so props if someone kills you with it. I realize that the maps (besides moon and bastion) are really close quarters but if you play smart, you can beat all of these. ex. I kill people shottys by staying out of buildings and jumping backward and pumping bullets into him if he charges me. It's not insanely viable unless you're on the guys d*ck or surprise him. I honestly hate fusion rifles, no good comeback for that one lol And I've outshot snipers across the map before, with scouts and autos, but I've also been destroyed by them at every range.It depends on who wields them if they're good or not. Oh and supers... They're supers. The only thing I think they should change with supers is you actually should have to earn them. By that I mean like you get your super every 1000 points or something. (Rough number)

Everyones gotta hate something. I'm sure there will never be a game that is released in the future that people won't try to hate on. Every game that is released these days seem to be the worst thing ever. Funny though when super nintendo had new games released there was no way it would be toped by another. That game was as good as it got. When the next one came out it blew people away. Spoiled kids these days.

Thats a sentiment I've heard echoed on the forum boards of every game released with PVP. Proof if any were needed that forum boards are ultimately pointless.

Lmao U have the same arsenal as the other guy.. Best man wins ;) If you don't like it..why don't you take yourself elsewhere? So anyway, Who LOVES the PvP on this game? x

So no secondaries at all, cause fusion, shottys, and snipers are the secondary weapons. Plus snipers are only one hit kill on the head. Shottys are only a problem if you get close, supers are pretty easy to avoid, just take advantage of mobility, cant tell you how many times blink made fools of my opponents. Pulse rifles and hand cannons can kill just as easily as anything else, idk how your using them, but it aint right. Pulse should be used to pick off from afar to medium range, some a auto rifle cant do. Hand cannons are for cqc to medium range, a more versatile shotty with faster shooting and more in a clip.

People can trash it and go list off as many reasons as they want about why it's garbage. They can ramble off about how it's just a bad blend of Game X and Game Y but the bottom line is that my friends and I are having a lot of fun with the PVP. I love that the head shots are crucial and result in 1-2 hit kills. Having all these crazy abilities that let you storm into an area and capture a point all by your lonesome is awesome. Sometimes it's you and your fire team on the receiving end of a blade dancing hunter. Them's the breaks. Sorry you aren't enjoying the PVP but I'm going to trust Bungie over all of you. After all, they're the professionals. TL;DR The Crucible is fun and was created by talented professionals. If you don't like it then that's just like your opinion, man.

2 RepliesYou ever Play Gears of War 2+? If you didn't use a Shotgun, you might as well not play. Gears 1 was the best of the series because it valued the Lancer (Assault Rifle) & Flanking tactics over Crab Slide, Blind Run, Shotgun Whores like the rest of the series.
