Let me start off by saying I think Destiny has a huge amount of potential. The state the game is in now is very boring online to play matches. There is no reason really to care if you win or lose. There isn't even a kill to death ratio on your profile unless if you check on bungie.net. Playing online has no sense of competitiveness there should be playlist with a ranking system after you hit level 20 for the people who actually take this game seriously.
