Who really is "The Stranger?"
So, after finishing what was a near non existent narrative... [spoiler] really don't understand the stranger, a random female Exo that shows up, tells you where to go to advance the plot, gives you no reason to trust her, and then leaves!
I had a theory, that she's possibly the manifestation of the traveller, as she claims not to be a guardian, knows how to cripple the darkness, and teleports into a white like material, even at the end she teleports, straight in the travellers direction. [/spoiler]
Thoughts? Counter theories? Right now she's just a cheap exposition device.

1 ReplySome say she's an Exo who survived the collapse and fights for an unknown cause. Others say she's a hallucination. Some even go as far as saying she is what exists in our future. No matter what they say though, they all agree she saved them at a point in time.

My theory is that she is from the future. She says she was "not forged in Light" so she must be from some time after the Traveler is dead. Unfortunately, the story is paper-thin at the moment and it's almost impossible to theorize about anything.

Like everything else in Destiny's story, an unexplained character with little depth to it that is part of the game's unimaginative plot.

I'm still clinging to the whole "Order of the Nine" idea, but I do expect her to appear in story DLC's, free or otherwise.
