I picked up Destiny at my local Gamestop store Tuesday evening after class was over. As always, they asked if I wanted to buy the Expansion Pass and I said "no, I'm going to wait". I got home and installed the game as well as the preorder bonuses/micro DLC stuff. I played for 20 minutes and had to get off. Got busy the rest of the week and just now got back on to play this Friday. I had a new notification (Xbox One) and checked to see what it was. It said Destiny Expansion Pass and had the option to Launch, which typically means that the selected item was downloaded. I was very confused at this point, because I absolutely did not buy the Expansion pass. After firing the game up and realizing that the Expansion Pass was not showing there, I decided to head to my apps and games to see whether it was installed or not. And sure enough, when I selected Destiny and selected manage, it showed the Expansion Pass as one of my downloaded items. I am not complaining that I got the pass for free, not in any way at all, but I kind of want to know what happened? Why did the Expansion Pass just show up in my notifications and on my hard drive despite the fact that I never purchased it? Before you ask, yes, I looked in the Xbox Store and it shows a grayed out "Installed" button instead of buy for the Expansion Pass. Can I get some clarification as to what is going on here? Thanks.
