I LIKE THIS GAME! Now I want everyone who reads this to know, I'm planning on playing this game for a long time and I'm only level 16. I'm enjoying the game, and I would even consider myself a bungie follower. But this game feels.... Empty? Shallow? I have put at least 15 hours into the game and I haven't found a weapon that I'm in love with... Armor that I think looks cool for warlock or Titan... And I feel like the story is just kind of slapped together. Halo swept me up into a world that existed and told me why it was awesome and why I loved being in that world. With all it's beauty and wonder. The very solid controls and vehicles, it leaves me in want. I walk through the tower and think... I want to play mass effect and interact with NPCs that DONT feel like faceless equipment dispensers. I jump into the crucible and think... I want to play halo because I love the vehicle combat and crazy stuff that happens. I run through the hell mouth on the moon and think... Maybe I would actually find COOL gear if I were playing skyrim. Not the same gun I've seen 100 other guardians using. Maybe I'm looking for someone to help me feel better about this game... I walked in the door waiting for the date of a lifetime.... But now I'm at the dinner table just waiting for the check to come so it can be over because it's just not "clicking" Bungie I love you... But this game feels like it ran out of space magic in the first few hours. Maybe the new content coming will bring the content with personality I've been looking for.
