Why my pre-order for this game is being cancelled

As an Xbox owner, am I s lightly miffed that Bungie made their next game more exclusive towards Playstation? Not at all. I don't have a problem with exclusive items in games based on where you purchase them or what console you own... as long as they are average to pretty good guns, weapon skins, character skins, or different characters.. My problem comes in when the other party gets additional maps and story modes and more specifically what this is about timed DLC. Now hear me out, as an Xbox owner I have been on the beneficial side of the timed dlc's from the Call Of Duty games. Even then I thought it was ridiculous that the Playstation users had to wait an additional month just because they played on a different console.. But, I can understand that when a company pays for a large sum of the cost it makes to make the game, they want some sort of beneficial factor working in their favor that might push others to purchase their console and make more money instead. This however, IS RIDICULOUS! Not only has that never convinced anyone I know to get one console over another, but even if it did, there is absolutely no way for them to keep track of whether that money spent was really worth spending! Just because a certain game sold more on Xbox than it did on Playstation and the game had timed dlc does not mean that the timed dlc had any actual effect on console sales; which lets be honest, is what they are really trying to push. Again, my problem here is mostly the fact that Xbox users have to wait an ENTIRE YEAR for new content!!! That is way more extreme than any other timed DLC I have heard of from a multiplatform game on release. That coupled with the max level cap of 20; and my experience with the leveling system in the beta. Brings me to the simple reason of why I am cancelling my pre-order for this game. With a max level of 20 and us Xbox players not getting any new content for an entire year AT LEAST means this most certainly a game to rent from gamefly for a month or two, have the fun that the (likely) somewhat limited map and the level cap quickly approaching - and the simple fact that loot scavenging is only fun for so long; return the rental and then forget about it entirely. A great game indeed, but limited content and not getting equal treatment will ruin this game for me... If they made it so that if you buy the season pass on the xbox versions than that cut down the wait time on all dlc from a year to a month or so that would be a much more do-able alternative that would not only boost their sales, but still make Sony and Activision happy by keeping content a priority on the Playstation versions.
