Items on destiny are account bound NOT character bound, you can transfer items to any character on your account. To transfer items from one character to another first make sure you have/do not delete the character sending the items, the items will be deleted if not transferred first. Login as the character sending the items and go to the tower. Once at the tower go to the vault (as you spawn go straight ahead and then there is 3 large pillars to your right with an orange glowy computer thingy). Place the items you want to transfer in the vault by press "options", you cannot transfer items that are currently equipped, you will need to equip something else first. Then press "X" to store the item in the vault. Now log-out and log in as the character you want to receive the items, go back to the vault and the items you just stored as your other character will be in there.
