DESTINY RATING POLL
How would you rate Destiny so far?
I myself am enjoying it immensely. The gunplay is ice cold, and the environments are lush and varied. Destiny easily blows away anything else thats out right now in my opinion.
Needs more clan & community support though, among other small changes.

Here's the thing... I wouldn't mind spending $100 flat out for a great game, but I want all the game upfront for $100. I don't want to wait for DLC if that DLC is only going to complete the original game. $100 for the game, all Dark Below and House of Wolves content, but all of it available soon as I get the game (or a month or two after). After that, if they want to add more DLC, I would pay for it. I hate the idea that I have to wait almost a year just to get a conclusion on the storyline. I'm not necessarily upset about the $100, but I would just expect either better content, or have that content come sooner.

8.5 - 9 I would say is a fair score, I don't think its quite 9 since the story is locked in silly grimoire cards which cant be accessed in game. the story is there but you have to hunt for it online which is stupid IMO

The rpg and gun games are exciting. All we need is some depth to the universe, really. Also, I wanna kill things in my ship. That was the biggest lost oppurtunity.

6/10 Something is missing in this game, it feels too structured, too grindy, too nothing. What are we supposed to do in the game? Do story which is bland as hell to say the least, most story missions are to go through an area you have done before, to get slightly further, killing mobs way lower than you, to get the ghost out to defend vs some mobs, and kill a boss, go back to a tower to identify gear that would have maybe been useful in the damn mission. Then what? Patrols are boring, we have already done most of the stuff in the story, trudging back to the same place too kill a mob I just killed 5 times in a row in the story. Strikes are fun and hard, but once you have done them 1-2 times, they are same old same, nothing inspiring past the first adrenaline rushed moment. Raids I suspect will be the same with more waves, and a bigger more evil boss. Loot is ok, nothing amazing, story is boring I dont really remember anything specific other than feeling like I have already done this mission before, AI is good but always the same thing happens. Diablo is a better loot game, borderlands did the rpg shooter side better, halo did the pvp and vehicle side better. What is it im missing here? The game is very very boring, why not give us vast amounts of different weapon types, not just this sniper is better than the last one, it has 1 thing different which is better stability when crouching or something. Feels like a lot is missing, and I have never seen a single public even in live, I did 4 in beta. I just see random people of random levels on the same map as me all doing different things and every so often one guy will wave or dance, wow the interactions!!!! 6/10 something is missing for sure

25 RepliesHow do people think this game at launch is a 9/10? Are you people that much of sheep that you honestly believe this game is anything special and deserving of praise. It's shitty games like Destiny that are ruining the gaming industry, because devs know they can release unfinished crap and people will throw money at it blindly, and continue to do so with DLC. I really wish i was an activision exec right now, because seeing all these sheep supporting this game is like a guaranteed 30-50 bucks after launch that's in their pocket. You retards are disgusting.

3 RepliesI voted 6. This game is missing something. Well, many somethings. It seems to be trying to do a lot of different things, and most of them it does just a passable job of, at best. As a loot game, it's no where near as good as Borderlands or Diablo. As an MMO, you can't even interact with anyone random in the world besides 4 emotes. As an open world, it feels really, really small. As a story-driven game, it's told by an uninterested (and uninteresting) narrator, and there are so few characters, and those characters do so little, that it's not memorable at all. I'm not here for the PvP, so I can't really comment on that. As a next-gen game (playing on PS4), the load times are pretty frequent and long. And it's pretty directionless in many ways. I just finished the campaign, and my reward was a Mote of Light. I already had 2 or 3 of those, and as far as I can tell, only one vendor takes motes of light, and all I can buy is a Warlock Bond. I don't even know what the point of Warlock Bonds are, and the big reward at the end of the story is 1/26th of one of those. Until I learn whatever it is about Bonds that I don't know, that's got to be the most underwhelming last reward ever (for a game you're supposed to keep playing after you finish the story). The shooting seems pretty good, and the AI seems better than most, and it's technically a sound game. There just doesn't seem to be much of a game there. The missions were all so similar (in design and appearance - as you were constantly in the same few places all the time) and got old really quickly.
