So lets start out with some Positive before this gets Negative. The PVP is great in this game and extremely fun. I could stand a playlist without supers just for more competitive players, it would be nice but overall its a lot of fun...Except for that Tick rate. Turn it up. BUTTT The PVE is horrible. The fact that there is no new real content except for gear at lvl 20 kind of sucks. Why are there not Lvl 20 only strikes? or Lvl 20 only areas of the game? And on top of the that all the strikes are extremely repeative. All of the bosses are essntially amped up versions of mobs we've fought before. The Psion flayers and Valus Ta'aurc are the two worst cases of this on mars. The Pison flayers are nothing but fancy looking Psions with a lot more armor and A LOT more shields, and you end up pouring endless amounts of ammo into this. Same thing will Valus or mars. He's just a amped up Cabal mob, Colusses, that stands in one spot, shoots his machine gun non stop and occasionly fires missiles, while walking across the room, ever so slowly. There aren't any real mechanics to any of this fight. This makes me more sad than anything because the entire world has SUCH potential. It seems like most of the lore and setting was wasted with horrible writing, limited extremely repeative engagments and a lack of originality. It's clear they have all the tools to make something amazing and it just falls short. The game most certainly does not start at Lvl 20, it ends. It dies even. Aside from gear, you've done everything. Maybe this game will be gear in a year once they've added all the content to make the game whole, but $60 to wait for content that may or may not be more bullet sponges...I don't feel like its worth it. So am i completely wrong and crazy or what? Are you satisfied with Destiny so far? Yes or no.
