Destiny Secrets - Religious Parallels

READ BEFORE POSTING: This video does not claim that these "parallels" are "intended allusions". This means that as a Christian, I saw some parallels and hoped the community (of all religions) might find them interesting. The point of this forum is for others to come and share parallels between THEIR beliefs/outlook/religion and Destiny. Religious debates should be handled in a different location. Thanks for participating and stay positive! :) Edit: Destiny seems to call upon many religious sentiments within its story. Post Religious Parallels between Destiny and your beliefs here! Note: Please, be respectful and mature as this subject can be sensitive to others.

I can see the relation to the Traveler being alluded to as Jesus, Yin, Allah, God himself, Noah and many other Religious figures. It's not a surprise that the writers of Destiny drew upon this as it has been used for the basis of a lot of stories and games. A being or Deity coming to the help of man, making us prosper and then of course man takes advantage of it and then there is a "Collapse" then man must re-build and usher itself into a new age of prosperity. It's a re-used story, but I really have so far enjoyed the one presented in Destiny, that said I'm not religious, but it's cool to see peoples connections to other things and Destiny within the forums. :P
