...for registration for a surgery I'll have on Tuesday. They asked me the normal stuff, if I had had any major disease lately, if I was on any medication etc. Did a couple of blood tests, ECG, blood pressure, all standard procedure stuff. The reason for the surgery is to remove a metal bar from my chest, that was inserted about three and a half years ago. I had this condition called Pectus Excavatum, which is a cave-in in the chest caused by the sternum being behind the ribcage instead of on level with it. So I went through the surgery known as the NUSS procedure, where the metal bar was inserted which caused it to pop out and flatten. It's like bracers for the rib cage.
