Immaturity
I've seen too many post that are filled with immaturity because someone else doesn't agree with an opinion or idea. It's very disappointing.
An example would be if someone suggests changing something about Destiny. If someone doesn't agree with your idea about how to change the game for the better, they label you as a "troll" or just flat-out insult you and your idea. People are entitled to their own opinions but labeling someone as a "troll" or insulting their idea is an unneeded act of aggression and should receive the ban-hammer from the moderators.

1 ReplyI think part of the reason is that any well thought out criticisms are drowned out by the temper tantrums and hyperbolic posts, and most of those posts not being posted in the right forum (#Destiny rather than #Feedback). It's also about knowing your audience. If you're eating at your favorite restaurant and someone barges in and starts yelling that the steaks are better someplace else and because they don't offer free refills that the restaurant is doomed, you probably won't appreciate it.

People on internet are naturally assholes. Banning people isn't going to solve Bungie's problems, because those banned members will usually make alternate accounts and continue doing what they feel like. Bungie has implement the mute system for a reason. If you don't like what someone is saying mute them. It's a temporary fix, but all trolls want is attention. So don't give them any.
