Anyone else think it's odd that Exos wear helmets

Not that I really care much and understand the practical reasons, but I got to thinking in beta, why does a mechanical "person" who doesn't breath need the helmet, or even just why for protection when the helmet is the same looking material as their heads. Again, I'm not bitching, I totally get it's just programming continuity across the races, but I do chuckle thinking about the absurdity. Edit: Good catch, smartphone posting and didn't proof read, thanks.

  • Triple, I feel like your idea of just welding the armor right onto the Exo does make sense. However like some people have been saying, if your built in shoulder gets damaged, it's a lot more hassle to remove the whole arm and get a new shoulder, than just to replace the shoulder pad if it's separate. Unless it penetrates haha. Also, from a game perspective, you could never change your armor, and never get the abilities from them. Unless they treat it like programming for abilities, and swapping your arm for a better one.. Think of it like that.
