Suggestion: A Specialized Clan Tab in Destiny's Menus

A specialized Clan Tab would be great!

What we have now is fine.

I'm not in a clan.

As anyone who is managing or simply just in a clan knows joining up with fellow clanmates is a pain in Destiny at the moment. You need to friend request clan members you want to meet up with in order to reasonably create fireteams. While I have no problem friending clan members (you guys rock!) it sorta adds unneeded clutter to a friend list used across all the games you play. What Destiny needs is a separate Clan tab, which functions like the Roster tab. The idea behind this Clan tab is to provide all members an easy way to group up with fellow members without the need for friending a bunch of folks. Especially for you 50+ member clans! Here is what I propose this new Clan tab has: -Simple clan message. Long enough for a sentence or two, just to let people know about events or new members, etc. -List of online members. Maybe a list of all members (offline and online) but that just seems like cutter. Online members are more important. -List of fireteams. By this I'm thinking that clan members can create fireteams and describe them as PvE/PvP/Strikes, whatever. This fireteam will be listed, showing it's description, open slots, and maybe level range but that could possibly go in the description. This will provide players who log in a quick and easy way to see who's running what. Someone will be able to see that Raylon is leading a Strike fireteam to the Devils Lair, and that CrucibleMasterBlaster is about to hop into PvP and needs 2 more members. There can be a way to quick-join on this list as well, likely a similar set of options when you select a player in the Roster tab. That doesn't seem like too much on one screen to me but to be perfectly honest I'd be ok with just a list of clan members :D I'm REALLY hoping for a decent way to connect with my clanmates. Friending everyone is not the most ideal method for this since it can be sooo much more streamlined. It is however totally possible that this just wasn't in the Alpha/Beta but I figured the idea might catch the eyes of Bungie. Any ways, I've given my two cents on the matter. I'm sure that other clan leaders and members may have some ideas of their own that we could add to this so leave a comment below!
