So I got a 720p 32 inch tv for my ps3 3 years ago. It has done me well and has ultimately looked pretty well. Although with the next gen consoles out, I'm buying the ps4 bundle, is it worth it to upgrade to a 1080p 40 inch tv? With destiny being 1080p will I notice a difference between a 720p and 1080p tv? I usually sit 6 feet from the display.
Edit: Should I wait until Black Friday to get a great deal on a new tv or buy a new one before destiny is released? Would you take the extra 2 month wait to experience all of what destiny has to save money?

There will be a difference since you are going up in resolution, really depends of you want to spend the money for tv. Although cant hurt to get better things :)

I have a 1080p 43 inch Tv for all my game consoles. Its all your choice but a bigger/better TV may make you happier.

The short answer is YES, You can definitely notice a difference between 720 and 1080. The real answer is a lot more involving when it come to what brand to buy. Do some research, for gaming find one with solid refresh rates and low input lag. The input lag numbers take some digging as manufacturers don't typically publish them.

why would anyone get a ps4?

You'll notice the difference.

It's not worth it because the PS4 can only run 720p so it will look only a little but better but on my xbox it's great.

I would buy a gaming PC monitor. It feels like the colors are more crisper. Plus monitors are fairly cheap. Gaming PC monitors are usally 24 inches. I have a 40 in LG LED tv but feels a bit laggy compared to the monitor.

Meh worry bout frames, it definitely can be noticeable at points but nothing game breaking. Fair warning, never watch a tv show at high frames, it can make ANY great show look a lot more fake.
