I remember when I first got my beta code...it was so awesome downloading the game, every second was like a lifetime, but when it finally finished downloading, it was worth it. as soon as the Bungie name flashed across my screen i got that feeling, that something awesome was coming, and from the very first minute i saw the destiny start screen, my heart started pounding, my brain began to process 500 scenes per second and i had a smile so big it would be legally considered madness. And as soon as you see the 3 guardians you start pressing buttons, and choosing colors, races, qualities, and your fingers are working 20 billion presses per second and when you see your finished product you realize, what you did was a piece of shit, then you go back and edit slowly (first time: 10 seconds second time:20 seconds) and as soon as you are done and the cut scene begins you feel like your heart just stopped. you are absorbing every minute of it, but you are so excited, you don't even know what you are looking at. and from that point on you begin your adventure, from waking up in old Russia to the ending scene in the moon, you have that sense that life for once is worth living, while playing the beta you didn't care what guardian other people chose, or what guns they had or what map they were on and what rewards they got, you just knew you were playing the perfect game and that you had never had so much fun, killing someone else's guardian in the crucible, or having to restart from the last checkpoint, cause your fire team died, all you knew was this is awesome. that feeling most of us felt, that awe, that feeling that you were alive, that feeling is gone. now you may all be thinking, what's this moron talking about, I m still excited to play destiny and will have fun. well I think not. I have been reading and posting and then just now I realized that every comment I have made or I have seen or I have been responded to was either a complaint or and argument, or an insult. and it was all about: no mine is better, no my guardian is better, or the titan's are the best, or am I the only one who thinks this game is bad, or boring, or lacking something, or even sucks for you all PS or Xbox players cause I have more on the PS than you. Whatever happened to that feeling of awe and amazement and not caring about other's gear or likes and dislikes? so now I say fellow guardians, does it really matter if you did or did not like destiny (I mean it was a beta, so you can't completely judge yet) or what guardian you chose. if we were all the same and thought the same, there would never be happiness or excitement or anything new. we would all be exo hunters or human titans. If we are to love and play a game, we must learned to love each other and accept our differences for one another. If we want to be respected we must respect others first. 1 million starts with 1. how about we set our differences apart and become the same person we were while playing destiny and instead of saying your warlock sucks, or your Xbox is not 1080p or I didn't like destiny cause, instead we should say, I respect your opinion and it's yours and we should also say, im glad we all are getting to play a great game, so great I would not wish anyone to miss out on. Destiny was created to bring about people from all over the world, not to argue, but to share their experiences and achievements, regardless of what they chose or what system they play on. It is time we change our ways and become ...Legends!
