If Destiny is supposed to be a great Social experience....
Why the f[u]u[/u]ck you can only have 2 friends to play PvE with and it will not even let you join another friend's fireteam? I feel like Destiny has more restrictions than freedom when it comes to their vision for it.
And why the hell they didn't announced that private matches aren't coming a long time ago?
EDIT: I just learned that they will use existing areas for their DLC, so i will be paying for the same thing i already payed $60 for. Sounds like a cash grab to me.

5 RepliesBecause more than a three man fireteam is incredibly OP. Think if everyone constantly had supers from all the orbs of light. And the new DLC contains strikes, weapons, armor, story missions, and MP maps. They have to code that all into the existing stuff. I'm sorry companies just can't go giving away all that extra content for free because you paid $60 for the base game. Maybe look into buying something more your speed?

They didn't announce private matches and prolly weren't ever planning too because it could hurt sales. I feel like deej let it slip, but it was because he was asked. Of course more than their vision for the game they want money first and foremost. They are a business and I feel like Activision could be pushing stuff before they are ready. Maybe destiny isn't ready for launch on 9.9.

Yeah we are going to the moon in the DLC, but that doesn't mean it's only in the same area, maybe areas in the moon we haven't been yet. And we might going to more than the moon, the only thing we really know about the DLC is a small description for it, that don't tell shit.

1) I don't care too much about the fireteam size. My friends are true friends and not all of them can play at the same time. 2) DLC can mean more enemies (new race) more weapons and armor or more sparrows and ships. Doesn't have to be more maps. [spoiler]go spend your -blam!-ing money elsewhere[/spoiler] i'm fine with the DLC. not every piece of DLC needs to introduce more -blam!-ing maps. there are plenty of areas to explore among the 5 or 6 or whatever planets. they introduce new stories and lore, and probably new gear which is plenty fine for me

There's a very basic rule to follow when it comes to any game or developer. And it's this. The developer will make the game they want and envision. they aren't going to cater to every person or player as when trying to please the many you forget about the games core vision this is Bungies game and it's there's to create how they see for if mistakes are made then they will be corrected and refined next time there's no magic book to please everyone it's always down to trial and error.
