Why are characters shaded black?

1 ReplyDepends on the device you're using. iPhone 4/4th Gen iPod Touches and some Andriod devices do not support 3D rendering. Web browsers also don't support 3D rendering yet as well.

2 RepliesI would actually like to have an answer to this too. I know that on iOS devices the models are CG but I would like to know if that will ever be brought to the browsers.

Isn't it because our beta characters don't really exist anymore? The information is weirdly still there though but I think that's still the reason.
