[b]I understand this is old news,[/b] but it seems that a Destiny Ghost Edition game [url=http://www.gamespot.com/articles/destiny-special-edition-preorders-selling-for-hund/1100-6421481/]has sold for $1,025 USD on eBay.[/url] Not only that, but many more of these limited edition games are being purchased for hundreds of dollars more than they're worth. What I'm wondering is: Exactly how many copies of each edition were made? And how many for each console? I'm sure, statistically speaking, that more were made for the PlayStation console(s), seeing as that's the popular choice. It's crazy to see a game sell out within 12 hours of being stocked, though. I haven't seen anything like it since the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. What do you guys think? Was it due to sheer popularity, or were the stock numbers relatively low (like the 1,000 Legendary Editions of Halo 3)? Did anyone here pay a ridiculous amount of money for a Limited or Ghost edition? Please do share. I'll be checking Amazon for any updates until launch day.
