I feel like this game should be experienced in a group, maybe you feel differently?
-
Depends in the situation. I prefer friends for competitive gameplay since I can actually rely on them, but I'm fine with going solo for exploring.
-
I feel like I need someone watching my six in this one.
-
I'm gonna set out alone, to make friends.

Edited by MatrixasISeeFit: 8/14/2014 12:26:05 AMYou have to add both. I loved Lone-wolfing and playing with others. I solo'd the Moon and there was such a deep feeling of mystery and adventure.

What are "Friends"?
-
I will be playing when I feel like it, if my friends are playing at the same time I will be playing with them, if they aren't I won't be going out of my way to play with people I don't know. I spent a fair amount of time in the beta playing solo, but when friends were on we always joined up.
-
Friends are appreciated, but I tend to roll on a different schedule. I'm alright gunning it on my own, or at least accustomed to it.
-
Friends. Granted, there are moments when I want to jump in a game and simply play alone and work on something, despite being sent invites. But the majority of the time I'm usually found playing with groups of folks I've known in the community for years.
-
Well since most of my friends are childhood buddy's of mine.(14 years) we all enjoy the game well and we may be on a lot more often together. But there are times were I just want to be alone and enjoy the little things.
-
I would kind of have to have friends that will also have Destiny when it comes out to be able to play with friends, right? I wouldn't mind playing with other people who are complete strangers like the majority of people in matchmaking, but I have maybe one friend that I still have contact with right now. Besides, having played only single-player for I don't know how long, I'd probably get in the way more than help.
-
I'm okay either way. I like having people organized for strikes, but when it comes to exploring I prefer to go lone wolf, and occasionally help out the lower levels as I travel.
-
I have no friends. Only my rifle. There are others like it, but this one is mine. Everyone shall perish. (That escalated quickly)
-
With friends cause it's much more fun when u and ur friends are playing and plus harder difficulties will be easier and this game was specifically to be played online either with friends or random people
-
All my friends have got next gen while I'm stuck with a ps3 til Christmas. Hopefully I'll be able to play with them then but until that time I'll be going solo
-
I only play games with friends. I get bored really easily by myself.
-
Myself if my friends are not online. If they are, then about 75% of the time I'll jump in with them.
-
Solo for me. Hate getting bogged down by others. I'll join people for raids, n I'll enjoy the ransoms in strikes, but the majority I'll be solo
-
I want to do both evenly, I reckon that's the best way to experience everything this game has to offer. Unless one option ends up being outrageously better than the other!
-
Among my friends I am the ONLY true hardcore gamer. In the beginning I think I will solo a lot. But I'm gonna look for a good clan to do raids with etc. And perhaps I'll even meet people while roaming around. That's the beauty of Destiny :)
-
Both, Mostly solo but always up to join if i get invited, I got random friends added that surely are great players who i can play with but i got no ''own'' friends wich is why mostly solo at least in exploration/story
-
I have two brothers and we're all going to play together on one fireteam
-
Lone wolf...
-
I play alone but I like playing with a small group. They help when it's needed and even without mics we can still communicate pretty well
