A biased thread about why COD sucks
Five reasons why every COD game is complete and utter trash.
1. Story campaigns take you down one single path. No choice, all you do is shoot a group of people, then watch a cutscene diseased with cliches, over the top action and shitty voice acting. Fun.
2. Nothing special about it. The most generic a generic FPS can be. In every game you play as a white male in his twenties from a military background that shoots people because well, they're bad guys.
3. Horrible community. 95% of the community are below the age of 12. Because they haven't learned how to not be a -blam!-ing idiot yet, they just scream vulgar/offensive words like "retard" and make insults about each-others mothers.
4. Every game in the franchise has been the same thing. Every game has been copied and pasted from the last. No innovation or evolution whatsoever. I like to compare COD to our ancestors, apes. They like to throw their own shit and they also enjoy eating it.
5. Graphics are pathetic. I don't particularly think graphics matter much... But my god are they horrible. Compare MW2 to BO2, you'll think, "Were these games made the same year?" Pathetic.
Sure there are a lot more reasons but these are the important ones. If you've read this and you still plan on spending $60 (or any money actually) on a COD game... What went wrong in your life? Was there an accident? Buying a COD game is the equivalent of buying Daredevil on Blu-Ray. Only at least Daredevil won't cost $60.

COD: Black Ops was super fun, great mp and greater zombie fun. I like COD: Black Ops 2 just for zombies, only a couple maps were good tho, huge downgrade. And custom zombies on pc looks fun, I havent tried it tho. But every other COD sucks ass except for COD: World at War.

The only good COD out there is WaW. Zombies is the only thing that i enjoy from COD.

There is one decent COD game- Black Ops. I always played zombies with my mate. Fun. Everything else I completely agree with you

Treyarch makes some good ones.... WaW is one of my favorite games on PC due to custom zombies, Blops1 had an interesting story and I loved the emblem customization in multiplayer, and Blops2 had a pretty solid multiplayer that was fun with friends.

The [b]ONLY[/b] thing that really stands out for me is Zombies/Extinction. Everything else is just recycled Multiplayer/Generic Story.

But in the end.. Who really gives a damn. Plays the games you like and that's it. No need to comment on games you dislike. It's pointless, much like console wars. It's all subjective crap and we all need to just enjoy gaming and stop this boring overly stated crap.
