Video made by a fan, for the fans.
Hey guys. So, like most of you, I had an absolute BLAST playing the Destiny Beta. So I made a little tribute video, to the gamers who were lucky enough to take part in the Beta with me. I tried to put that feeling of joy that we all felt when it first booted up, into a video.
I know, this is pretty much shameless self advertising... But I really wanted to share it with the community. You know? Not just with my friends and family. If you take the whole 3 minutes to watch the video, I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
Can't wait for the full release.

Thank you for your wonderful video! My reactions were exactly the same! The sadness and frustration as the server went offline were unbearable. :'( Also can't wait for the full release.

1 ReplyExcellent job with the editing. The slow-mo video combined with the slower music selection was one of those rare and perfect pairings that only work because both are playing together and off each other and each element wouldn't have worked if the other wasn't there. You synced every major action point, the slams and explosions with the downbeats of the song, and when there wasn't any action in the clip, the music served to fill one with the same sense of wonder and discovery we all felt in the beta. And the end, the sudden disconnect. I swear, if someone had the force, they would have felt hundreds of thousands of voices all cry out in unison saying, "Hey, I was doing something!" Great video and summary of the beta experience. See you starside.

This could be made into a Destiny commercial. It's that good. Pretty much captured all the feels and reactions from playing through it.
