I cannot fully understand why people think matchmaking this raid is a good idea. Especially a raid that is being touted as tough as this is supposed to be. Communication and understanding will be key for this content. As will certain roles each player will have to put themselves in, and have the ability to carry it out. Most people that have had experience with PVE content that requires heavy cooperation should agree that public random groups is far too frustrating. Much worse than getting an experienced, communicative group together and giving it a go that way. Not to mention the fact that some of the better gear will likely be available as rewards for these raids. If that's the case then it should only reward the people that take the time to prepare and properly communicate with each other. It should feel like you accomplished something. Just my two cents about it. Interested to see why people want the matchmaking part of it.
