Absolutely a response to all of the "what else is there to do in destiny" comments. I am definitely pumped to see what the raids are really going to require. The leveling process seems to ramp up significantly after lvl 20, kinda like every level after will require the equivalent of 10+ levels worth of work. Aside from that exciting, yet depressing news I do have another question. If we can buy expansions that offer more missions... if I buy them on 360, will those transfer to xbone like my character and gear does? When I upgrade consoles they got me for 2 copies of the game, I'm really hoping they don't double dip for dlc too...

Omg miss just the beta

Did anyone notice that the hunter's helmet (shown for around five seconds in the log in) was animated? I just thought that was a really cool touch.
-
Why didnt he dance?

Man, now if only they could post videos for Warlock and Hunter...

Wow, that was a lot to take in, but it is very exciting to get a taste of some of the end game content. The most exciting thing I observed was that there will be at least 29 levels in Destiny (likely more), and there was mention of a new type of "arcane" gear. I see now how & where the Vanguard Marks play into securing the legendary gear, and it was exciting to hear about the daily and weekly "Nightfall" activities to secure exotic gear. There was even mention of a "strike playlist" which sounds like it may keep me busy well after reaching Level 20. My only concern is the discussions around the new raids and the fact that matchmaking will not be an option. I guess I will need to eventually join a clan to be able to group up with five other players to enjoy the challenge and loot from these 2-hour raids...that's right, Luke Smith said two freaking hours to complete a raid! Overall, it really sounds like Destiny has put some thought into their end game content to keep us coming back for many months to come :-)

So there's no running to an online walkthrough to figure out the best way to complete end game material because it continuously changes so that we have to adapt or die. That is awesomsauce canned and delivered. I guess all those threads about which build you're going to do are pointless now. Answer, all of them

Yeeessssss absolutely cannot wait for destiny. And this has me more hyped. Bring on 9/9 I am READY

That helmet is amazing. I need it!

Modifiers which cause me to rethink the build and armament of my guardian sound brilliant. It's this kind of statement that always relieves any fears I had about the size of the game. It always reminds me of racing titles. Back in the day a racing game might have like 8 tracks but no one moaned about the lack of variety cos the fun part was trying all the different cars/race types such as in gran turismo 1 for example. No-one will mind if the game isn't skyrim times a thousand if there are different game modes and challenges every time you turn it on.

Raids aren't hard to set up ... for stuff like this have group plan what days they have off... this is FPS so I going to guess they might have multiple scenarios like regular raid smash and grab style, boss battle, or maybe a defender type. But people for yrs been doing raids for yrs.. "Hey bro getting guys together get lan party.. You in?" Hey look original FPS Raid lol... So Can't wait to see this.

Problem with this is that the exotic weapons are now calling my name in my SLEEP. It's going to take a while to achieve getting them... and thank god for that. Having targets is what makes people continue playing. It's why some players were worried about reaching level 20 so fast (I got all three of my chars to level 8 in no time but then found I was STILL levelling up my skills so it showed that reaching level 20 isn't the end of everything). One of the reasons I things like COD's prestige system is that it's just repeating what you have done for hardly any reward. Playing Destiny story missions on higher difficulties doesn't just make the enemies harder you get different enemies and they behave differently too. Try easily kicking the ass of a Knight repeatedly and then suddenly come up against an Honourable Knight for example. Nearly pooped my pants when I came across one in open exploration and he didn't drop like normal... and the sod chased me until a group of Warlocks nova'd his ass. I think I was running around like a little girl screaming my ass off lol.

Yo guys did you see that -blam!-ing helmet at the end of the video
-
Well better start stocking up on supplies I will be absent from life starting on 9/9 who knows when i will be back D:
-
I honestly don't know what the big deal unless it's being forced into a fireteam but even then I don't mind.

This is why everyone needs like 50 friends who play destiny just so you have at least 5 other friends available to do a raid at all times.
