No destiny has a massive storyline with plenty of lore and you need to experience it

Edited by MightyJonE: 8/6/2014 6:59:00 PMbut in a multiplayer game, technically how could you possibly have, for example, 1 person skip a cutscene while the others are watching it? or even have a player or players who want to skip, but the other player or players want to watch it? surely it's unworkable in a multiplayer game unless everyone agrees to skip that cutscene at the same time
-
I think we should be able to skip/pause after we watched it the first time . So that way some peoples don't just skip everything and not get the story
-
Your not trust me. I've played the through campaign Missions with my friends a few times and half of that time was spent watching the same damn thing for the thirtieth time.
-
Im ok with it we can screw with our gear and options during a cut scene
-
-
Agreed, we need skip and pause options
-
Not only a skip option, but a pause option on cutscenes would be great as well. Some games have it, some don't. Personally, I find it useful as people I live with seem to think that the perfect time to talk to me is when a cutscene pops up. In games like gta v, for example, there was no way for me to pause the cutscene when someone started talking, so I'd miss what was going on, and have to start over. Whereas, in assassin's creed, if someone started talking I could pause the cutscene, finish the conversation, and go right back where I left off. Hopefully this gets added in.

I agree
-
I -blam!-ing love the cutscenes, so I'm good. A vote to skip option wouldn't hurt though
-
Here's a bit of a trick I picked up. If you finish a mission and while it's doing the 30 second count down, if you pull out the ghost and choose the "go to orbit" option, it will allow you to travel to where you need to go, but cutscene-free.
-
We need this bececause I dont like to watch the cutscenes over and over with a different class its so annoying.
-
For real. Makes never want to repeat a mission. Ever.
-
100% necessary. Bungie please read!
-
1. When playing through section for first time don't allow cutscene skipping 2. When second time around allow cutscene skipping 3. If in fireteam, no matter how maniest time in particular cutscene, make it so that everyone has to agree to skipping or it won't be skipped. This way FT Leader or some other dude "in hurry" won't force you to skip content you don't want to skip.
-
if they did add it you would have to hold the button down so long the cut scene would had ended before it had activated
-
Lol I can see making us watch it once but everytime...... gaaah the agony
-
Yeah, I would appreciate a cutscene skip as well. I liked to watch it all the first time but when I made another character, I was ready to start but had to watch the scene again. Not to say I didn't love it, because I did, but I had already seen it. So I agree with cutscene skip.
-
I don't see why we couldn't also skip a cutscene for the first time. I'm not saying I will skip them because I want to see them. But what if I reroll a new character? I don't want to be forced to view all those cutscenes all over again. And so what if some players out there decide to skip all cutscenes on the first time? . They'll miss out on all the story, but who cares? That's their problem! Please Bungie. Allow us to skip the cutscenes! Do like many other games and force us to hold a button so we don't accidentally skip them by accident. But just in case the game uses cutscenes to hide a loading screen, then that's fine! Many other games do that too and they put a "Please wait" message to prevent us from skipping it, and once the game is done loading whatever it needed to load you can allow us to skip it!
-
I agree, definitely need a cutscene skip but also should not have to go to orbit after every mission completion.
-
Agreed
-
I agree - First time is fine, but if you do a mission again it would be nice to be able to skip cutscenes we have already seen.
-
-
Yes, give us the option to skip cutscenes. On the beta there was a mission I replayed that has a tower scene. After you watch it you still have to travel to the Tower from orbit. It made no sense to have to travel back to the tower when I was just there in the cutscene. Logic bungie, come on. "That wizard came from the moon'' I have a feeling there will be plenty more of this in the final game. Please, let us skip the cutscenes.
-
i agree but only on your 2nd time watching the cut scene and/or another account until it makes it to where you main is
-
Nah, I'm good. Plus the cut scenes are parsed out and pretty succinct.
