A few suggested UI and HUD changes

For a beta, this game has certainly captured my heart. I love every aspect of the open world gameplay in Destiny but there are a few things Bungie could do to make it even better. The following suggestions are based on the PS3 since I haven't played the game on any other consoles and I don't know how the buttons are mapped. First, the field of view in 1st person mode feels very narrow. A slider in the menus that allows us to make it wider would be much appreciated. Second, and in connection to the field of view, the HUD placement isn't very optimized. The point of the Radar/Motion Tracker is for us to be able to check it quickly for enemies but having it at the top left of the screen feels awkward. Placing it at the bottom left corner just on top of the weapon and ammo info would be a lot more helpful. Having the option to scale on-screen UI would also help de-clutter the screen. I also noticed that it is easy to get lost the first time you're in a network of unexplored rooms in large buildings. A quick reference map with just the outlines of the walls and any stairs and exits would be useful. This map could show up when you pull out your Ghost ([b]Select[/b] button). Selecting the map would allow you to scroll and see previously explored areas as well as set down a marker that your Ghost can then navigate you towards using waypoints. Map exploration is a big part of any open-world game, it would be a shame to not include some kind of map that fills itself in as you discover new areas. Next I'd like to see the Ghost menu changed a bit. I don't mind holding a button down for an action but it becomes very tedious when you want to quickly summon your Sparrow. Currently, pressing [b]Select[/b] opens the Ghost menu but maybe having the option to map a command to [i]holding[/i] [b]Select[/b] would keep the pace of the game up, maybe even have the option to set it as quick travel to Tower. Finally, I'd like to be able to remap any and all buttons to do what I want them to do. The current Button Layout variants don't do the trick and having a button layout that is comfortable to play with will make this game a lot more enjoyable since I'm sure a lot of us will be logging in hundreds of hours once it's released. I hope someone from Bungie reads this post and considers making some of these changes. TLDR: - add slider in menus to make 1st person view wider or narrower - move Radar/Motion Tracker to bottom left just above weapon/ammo info - add option to scale HUD - add map to Ghost menu with outlines of walls,stairs,exits and allow players to browse map and drop markers - add option to hotkey a command to holding [b]Select[/b] ex. deploy Sparrow, go to orbit, or quick travel to Tower - add option to remap all buttons
