Yup, I said factions suck. I realize it's a beta but, this looks permanent. At the moment in the beta we have 3 factions which you cannot join but, I assume you will on September 9th. These factions have horrible locations and "hangouts"! New Monarchy is shoved into a little corner by the speaker! Dead Orbit has a depressing little hovel in the ship decks! Future War Cult does have a room to itself at least but, it could be more. And my theory do Seven Seraphs and Osiris is that they're feminist groups in the beta but go the factions in the full release (no wonder Bungie wouldn't give them a spot in the tower). That's my recant on factions, to sum it up I just want a bit more. Tuff luv here Bungie, whatever you release I'll be happy with it ;).
