Well I get you! The problem is that most of us don't do free roaming. Why? Cause actually there is no sense doing it (now). PVP or strikes are just more fun, free roaming doesnt give you even enough XP nor glimmer than the other two...so the only reason remaining would be: reputation. But due to the fact that we don't know yet if progress carries over and it's a lot of work + most of the rewards can't be used on lvl 8 there is really no point in doing it. Besides the missions are always the same...I did free roaming for about 30min in the Alpha and tried it once in the Beta, but since there is nothing new, I have better things to do. And I believe most people think that way. In that regard I really hope Bungie is giving us some more diversity in the final game.

Yeah, I have to say that free roam doesn't have a load of people in it. I am assuming it's because it's a beta, but still, I would of thought more people would be exploring around, I guess a lot are in the crucible.

Yea it's a random occurrence that can happen for anybody at anytime
