I think jacking vehicles and being able to temporarily disable them would bring a lot more balance to vehicles.

To me emp's got annoying real fast, now there gone I'm happy. Plus a super charge took out the pike and interceptor just fine

Definitely agree for hijacking, emp less so. Something needs to be done though vehicles are definitely overpowered ATM.

What if one of the sub classes let you use a land mine, like halo 3 equipment? That could be a more mild fox instead of an EMP

You can shoot out the pilot easily.

All the vehicles are open, so with positioning you can take out the driver. Also, everyone has lateral movement abilities to make this easier. Also, everyone has supers, that can (and should?) be used for this occasion Also, everyone has heavy weapons (if you can grab ammo) that demolishes vehicles Also, everyone has grenades that can take out vehicles. It's inherent in the design of vehicle combat that you shouldn't want to stand really close to enemy vehicles, because they are an instrument of power. You already have many tools to take them or the driver out, but it requires much more skill than just holding a button when it passes by you. Adding jacking (which they thought of, but decided against) would severely underpower the vehicles on many occasions. This is a choice made to have a different feel of vehicle combat than in Halo.

Jacking a vehicle would definitely help balance things out, as for the grenade I'm not so sure about that. Perhaps that can be one of the chosen effects of a grenade.

Hijacking - and also maybe tone down how quick the vehicles can aim, the player should have SOME chance of double jumping away, without being cut down before reaching the top of your jump.

I definitely agree with adding the ability to hijack vehicles. However, I don't think EMPs would be a good idea, that would be overkill. We already have turrets.

I completely agree with this as I have gotten a 15 kill streak in the tank like vehicle on the moon.

Now I'm not saying a weapon with EMP that you can always use. Rather an ability or grenade that only certain sub classes can use offset by other abilities to choose. With a cool down so not everyone is running around with EMP. Not that I think the EMPs really killed the vehicle game in Halo. We're talking a 3-4 second stoppage. I always had good success in Halo with vehicles up to and including 4.

Considering the vehicles are incredibly easy to aim with, if someone gets close enough to hijack they're definitely deserving of it.
