Destiny would work really well on the Wii U gamepad but would you like to see it released?

What's a wii u
-
I use the WiiU as my coffee stand, :)

It would and wouldn't work for almost all the same reasons The system can handle it but the memory is too small It can go online but not in a way that Destiny requires The game pad would be amazing for menu management, think of the entire companion app except right at your fingertips while playing.

They wouldn't sell enough copies on that system to make it worth it sadly. The network isn't like XBL / PSN when it comes to Nintendo either.

Given the Wii U comes stock with a 32gb hard drive and Destiny has already said to take up to 40gb right off the bat, it won't even work on the basic sku of Wii U. I'm all for more people playing and enjoying Destiny, but I don't think they have the ability to do so. Or the demand, most of Nintendo's community (in my opinion) bought the Wii U because they're Mario, Zelda, Smash Brothers, and Karting fans. Other than that, it's kind of empty. I know they have Pikmin and what not. But yeah, that's just my honest opinion on it. Hopefully you get a shot but I doubt it'll come!

I'd love to play it on my Wii U as the GamePad is a damn fine controller and would be perfect for offloading most of the inventory on to that screen, not to mention Off TV play, so I would never have to stop playing Destiny EVER! The Wii U is very portable. :-D

It would be good for the Wii U and owners who don't have/don't want another console. If Destiny can run on PS3/360, it could run on Wii U except for the most crucial part... ONLINE! I don't know why Nintendo is so backwards in that area. I guess that's how they managed to save all that money. I think Nintendo would get more third party support if the Wii U sold better, but also if they made a real effort to build an online infrastructure. Games are steadily becoming more focused towards online experiences and Nintendo is really lagging behind. That or stop chasing the fluke of success that was the Wii and stick to what you're good at.

Maybe, Watch_Dogs is getting a release on WiiU, but I wouldn't hold any hopes for it. I think the priority for platform releases are: PS4>XB1>PS3>360>PC>anything else
