The Crucible Confession
I've seen quite a couple of posts about how one or two bad players in a PvP team can spoil it for everyone. I want to clear the air and admit - I am that terrible player. Look at my stats, no lies. I am sorry. If you see me in your team - despair!

Bad. My friend there is no such thing as being bad. Practice and you will get better. An old saying I go by (and I don't know who says this) even the best had to start somewhere.

9 Replieslol good you owned up to it, j/k , the thing i seen is if you loose one player on your team like 6 vs 5 you might as well quit. the balance is deff screwed up if you loose a player. halo games you could be a player down if they were bad and actually be better for it this is the oppisite you need every body on the ground even the bad ones! stick with it man

Back when my friends and I used to do all nighter halo lan parties, the match of legend happened. Myself (medium in skill among the 5 of us) and the worst player of the 5 of us completely shut down the two better players. We still talk about that game. Granted we have a lot of other things to talk about since high school but the moral of the story is, some of it is skill, some is luck. It's all fun and play with people you have a Blast with

Honestly, I usually have a pretty good time even losing at Destiny. Often I'm the highest scorer on the losing team, and a few times have been match high, even while losing. So - doesn't bother me... too much... except in Iron Banner. Having said that though - I also feel a little bad when I'm facing people in the Crucible that really just aren't as good as I am. I would much rather be faced with people of appropriate skill levels. My best, most memorable matches are all against enemy teams that were close to me in skill level, games where I actually had to remember which team I was on because I wasn't sure who actually won. It's no fun getting crushed, but I don't take a lot of pleasure in completely dominating another player either. I'd prefer they sort matchmaking out prior to release.

I'm sure everyone is enjoying their time playing the Destiny Beta which I sure am! it will all come to an end July 27th where we then have to wait until 9-9-14 to pick up the official game. Now I am saddened by this because I enjoy playing the beta very much and I am very impatient to wait for this great game to come out! So why don't we the voice try and get the beta to stick around a little longer! Use the hashtag #PlayALittleMore to keep the beta around a bit longer. Spread the movement. The first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one!!! Now get your ass back out there and keep at it. Everything will eventually click for you. Just remember to realize what you did wrong and try not to do it again and don't flinch or tense up if someone starts shooting you.

Strat and teamwork trump skill 9 times out of 10. Play with people you like cap 2 flags and hold down choke points. Most people are just overzealous ande nd up getting bent over.

All I gotta say dude is . I defiantly handed tons of kids the weenie . That's final lol . Amazing game . A lot of people complain about the crucible , but the truth is it just takes a little getting used to.

It is definitely a whole new beast compared to other shooters Bungie has made before. But you know what they say: practice makes perfect! Having said that, it's a team game. Everyone contributes to a team's win or loss. If you're at the bottom, then chances are that 99.9% of the time they have someone on the bottom of their list!

Don't despair, i'm extremely inconsistent in PvP. I can make top 3 in one match with 15+ kills, and in the next match I'd be the lowest score with maybe 9 kills

1 ReplyNo your the player I want on my team. As long as you try and as long as you put forth effort,that's all that matters. I can't stand the people who quit mid-match. Those are the players that get your team crushed.

Me too man, I have never been good at enything pvp, tried a little dark souls , and have never realy tried since. But I want to try in destiny, just feel sory for my team............ :)

I don't mind playing with people like you. I am good at the game and play alone and end up carrying my team most games. Fear not fellow Guardians as we help each other. From what I just looked at you've played three games in crucible. You've barely even started playing it, you can't say you suck when you haven't given it a fair chance. I mean I've played 70-something games and have had only one good game, 25.0 k/d. The rest is average .8 - 4.0.
