Who else agrees that the flashlight should be toggled on and off? So many times I've come to a dark room and I can't see anything. It would be nice for the flashlight to be toggled on and off.

I agree.

Edited by Martin Munster: 7/21/2014 10:11:00 PMheard that complaint a LOT from some of my friends i played with and I will always agree to this. I really think they should re-configure the touchpad so a swipe upwards brings up the ghost and a click on it toggles the flashlight. That would be neat.

You're so right! Every time I go into a cave and it's pitch black: "DINKLAGE!!!!!"(shakes fist)
-
Agree.
-
True, it's so dark everywhere I go.
-
Yes that would be handy.
-
Hell yeah
-
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be. Sounds good.

which button do you propose we use?
-
YES!!!
-
yes please on the touch pad

Stupid question, but is your brightness on your TV set up correctly? I agree, though. I much prefer being in control of the flashlight rather than let the game decide when I can use it. It's an extremely minor thing for me and doesn't spoil my enjoyment of the game. But still.

Yeah...or this. Redo the emotes like the commo rose in bf4, bind that to one d pad button. Use r stick to select while holding down the one d pad button. Now you have three unused buttons. Flashlight, Minimap, mute/unmute proximity chat. Bam. Ready to work at Bungie now.

i totally agree, i get frustrated sometimes getting stuck in dark places

I agree to this, So many times I would spam open and closing my Ghost to see walls and what not. I can turn my brightness up but it makes everything else look worse in high light.
-
I agree. Maybe swiping the touchpad would turn the flashlight on, or off.

Yes the flashlight should be toggled
