Warlock Armbands petition
I was just hoping maybe bungie could increase the size of the armband because it actually pales to comparison with hunter and titan cosmetic items.
Hopefully all the other warlocks here can help this get heard.

EDIT: I'm fully aware there are holograms armbands. They dont show as much as the higher tier hunter/titan cosmetics (Ive seen all the color and detail)
EDIT: I'm aware we have trench coats. I'm strictly talking about the cosmetic items comparison between other classes

To be 100% fair, if you look at the speaker legendary class items, the Warlock ones are the only ones that glow. They're actually really cool. Sure, these low level character class items definitely favor the Titans and Hunters, but as far as I can tell we have the best late game class items.

I love my warlock,favorite class,but i cant see my armband what so ever or any one elses for that matter. If they do not change the armband i will still play the game as a warlock and love the game all the same but if they do change it well then props to them and thanks.

Yea I'm in favor of either changing the armbands which are hardly noticeable but keeping it an arm band, or changing it altogether. Like a gauntlet. But one that changes the color of your energy depending on what kind it is.

What about changing it from a bond to more of a forearm gauntlet type of thing? Only not as clunky and big as a normal gauntlet. That would be sick to have a black garbed warlock with a silver or ivory forearm gauntlet.

Stop with the it's not fair post. Life isn't fair. The game is supposed to be unique in your customization for what you earn. If you want a cape be a hunter. I'm going to be a Warlock and the arm band is sweet. Just another annoying post!

1 ReplyI agree with this post but I don't think it possible to change the warlock accessory at this stage of the game. For all we know Bungie may already have a years worth of bonds already in game and I doubt they will scrap that and replace them within a month or two.

This honestly isn't that bad of a request. I started with a Warlock and couldn't tell you where their class armor was, it blends in with the rest of their armor. In comparison the Titan gets some cool belts and the Hunter gets cloaks, both easily noticeable. It does seem a little late to make this change, but I'm sure the 'lock community would appreciate it.

I have to agree that the Warlock class item pales in comparison to the Titan waist band and the Hunter cloak. Not only is it small and barely noticeable in game, but it doesn't fit in with the theme of the class items. The Titan's waist band is reminiscent of the sash or girdle that was part of an ancient warriors battle garment. They were usually adorned with totems or relics of past battles and skirmishes. The cloak is the symbol of the traveler or wanderer and seems to fit in well with the idea of the Hunter. But, the armband just doesn't seem a fitting representation of the Warlock. Some sort of vambrace or a sash worn horizontally across the chest (or around the neck like a scarf) seems to fit in better with the theme of these unique items. I think that no matter what, this will be an amazing game. It has already captured my imagination and excitement, but little details like this will only further solidify this as one of the most amazing worlds ever created and a benchmark for games to come.

I totally agree, only reason I don't play as warlock is because capes are better (sorry) but I was thinking they should make them more of a shoulder piece than an armband, some thing a little more apparent and badass

Instead of an armband, make it to where it has something to do with your whole arm. -Full Tribal Sleeve Tat -Magic smoke spiraling around your arm -Hand set ablaze with a power (fire/smoke/ice/acid/etc)

2 RepliesMain reason the arm band is that small for the warlock, is cuz they need to balance the level of cool between each class. And the warlock have a real cool trench coat...but that's a piece of armor...so to keep the balance they used a small armband...

You do understand that the chance of Bungie changing the warlock class gear is literally 0%? In fact I'll make a bet with you; If Bungie changes it to...a sash or whatever else, I will sell my brand new ps4 and pre-ordered copy of destiny to a random person on the street for 1$.

I made a thread kind like this a while back. It wasn't a petition though. I think the trench coat should be the vanity item, and then make a chest piece slot for another item with stats, or to make the armbands have stats.
