My handcannon ideas

>WARNING LONG POST< here is what I think should be changed about hand cannons using scout rifles as contrast first to make myself clear I will be using the term stat range to indicate the highest and lowest stats for an area of weapon capability for a type of weapon in that area of performance 1. the rate of fire stat range of the hand cannon should be about 10-15% higher than the scout rifles area 2. the impact stat range should be moved up 2-3% for the hand cannon and 1-3% down for the scout rifle area 3. the effective distance AKA range stat range is just about right for me in terms of relative effectiveness area 4. stability is also good for me area 5. the reload stat range for the hand cannon should be somewhere between 15% and 25% higher than the scout rifle to compensate for area 6. the understandably lower magazine size area 7. not quite a stat but still important is reserve ammo and I think that you should have somewhere between 90 and 180 180 being about what the scout rifle has with these changes I think you could use the hand cannon to get in close do a lot of quick burst damage and then reload quickly behind cover those are my thoughts but they are only suggestions so please share if you think they are to weak or to powerful or even if you have a small tweak.

  • The reload time is abysmal, the effective range is great, but the damage needs a buff. 3 consecutive headshots with a HANDCANNON should more than kill any player when 2 melee stabs are a kill or one well placed throwing knife to the dome is a killshot
