Beta Character transfer to full game?
I pick no because I want everyone to start on lvl 1. Maybe transfer some guns but not characters.

I'm saying no, because it's probably not balanced the way it should be as of now. They'll probably be adding more guns and armor and abilities to balance it out, so to keep this stuff if it's not balanced or is overpowered would not be too smart. That's my logic, Bungie.

2 RepliesI say yes. If they keep our progress from beta then those who want to start fresh can just delete their characters themselves and start over, leaving the decision to the individual player

I hope some items carry over. ie: materials, rare items and glimmer but I want to start my character at lvl 1.

Rares and legendaries please, don't care about the character itself but the items yes.

I want to have to unlock everything for the first time again. It will be much more enjoyable than just replaying the same content for the first day or so

Well, I want all Legendary items we can obtain from the beta to carry over. I could care less whether the characters or green/blue weapons carry over, though it'd be nice. Just want my awesome cape and awesome hand cannon to keep.

I want my weapons and armor to carry over for all the people who have found awesome loot. If you have to level up to use them that's fine

No, I like the idea of a fresh start. I would believe the Grimoire cards transfer over as they are tied to the account and special rewards as they had mentioned before. I'm honestly unsure what their plans will be though, it's anyone's guess what the final product will produce until it's officially stated.

No because the experience of lvling all the way up and learning everything is the whole point of the game.

It's not for us, it's for the game. Charity work. A chore. A burden. It's not meant to be for personal gain. Like volunteering to help at a soup kitchen or an orphanage. On the other hand, it's not unreasonable to ask to be compensated for our time and the assistance we've provided, and what could be more fair than to let us keep what we've accumulated? The more time we've put in, and therefore the more assistance we've provided, the greater our compensation. So really, I'm neutral. I'm here as a volunteer and never expected to be compensated, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be pleased and appreciative if compensation were given.

2 RepliesI want to start over. This beta play through has netted me only some decent scout rifles. For the life of me I need a good auto rifle to stay on the top of the leader boards for pvp. Now if I was being polled for the lvl cap raised to 10 I'm down like a clown. I got full set of lvl 10 blue rarity armor and some weapons. Oh, you lucky souls for this not being lvl 10. Haha :)

1 ReplyI picked no. I am glad we will get an emblem for participating in the beta. The game is not finished yet and we may miss out on content if we keep our characters. We still don't know how much the balancing and content of the game will change upon release. The itemization has already changed between the alpha and beta. We have heard that xp gain was bumped up for the alpha and beta. I think that bungie has thought long and hard about the carry over question. I am happy to play the game before release. I will also be happy to start over on release day knowing that much more about which way to go and how to play.
