Want 4 Player Fire Teams
3 player fire teams are just not enough im coming from borderlands and 4 player is essential. 4 player minimum all we need from Destiny

1 ReplyIn order to be a social game, larger parties are required. Even if we only get 3 players in a fire team, allow two or three fireteams to go on the same mission/explore/strike. If Destiny does not allow for larger parties, I fear my friends list may shrink as I will have to constantly turn down party invites...

11 RepliesThe reason it's 3 is because there are 3 Guardian classes making it 4 would disrupt the balance, maybe just multiples of 3, like 6 or 9

I agree. I understand they have a 3 theme with the classes an races but i have a lot of friends getting this game and i would like to be able to play with them.

Agreed. Three players is just so weird. For boss fights it feels like you have to stay back and attack from a range, it doesn't feel like you have enough firepower as it takes forever of just shooting at the boss to take it down. Also it doesn't make too much sense. Four seems like the perfect number just look at games like Borderlands, [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] Zombies, Left 4 Dead etc...three player fire teams are not enough in my opinion. Perhaps the most annoying part is that as you're walking around and fighting, you see other players that fight alongside you, so saying it isn't balanced for more than three people is invalid.

It's the only part of Destiny that absolutely bugs me. I come from Borderlands 2 also and a four man team is king. Especially on a game with revives. A three man team is forced to stick together in case one Gardian falls. 4 player teams can split into two more secure teams and plan attacks. Like while attacking the spider tank. You really need to split it's attention to really hurt it. Not that I've seen every single game out there but seems to me that the norm is four. It's great to be innovative but this kind of decision is poorly made. And saying that it's all for the 6 player raids and stuff is a bunch of hoohah. Your four player team will be matched with two randoms. Doesn't need to be two perfect teams of friends. And nobody wants five or six. It'll stop at four.

Damn, three players is limiting. I assumed certain missions allowed more players depending on difficulty, but I guess not.

If pvp can go up to 6 then so should pve.

Yea I think PvE should be 6 so your team can have a fighting chance defeating the bosses especially the Dead Walker

Simply agreed, they also need to scale difficulty with the amount of members in the fireteam too when in certain areas, much like Devil's Lair just to compensate for it.
