There are a lot of posts here in help that could use a little, er, help. So here are some tips for getting a quick and accurate response.
1. Look for an existing post first
Look through the last few pages of the help forum and see if someone else has a similar questions. Add to the thread if your question isn't exactly answered. Concentrating answers in existing threads is a Good Thing.
You might need a new post. If so continue on.
EDIT: Check the "question post" box when you make the post and mark it as answered when your issue is resolved.
2. Make your title descriptive.
If your title is just "Help" or "I got a question" it might take extra time for an expert to help you. Try to list your web browser or phone model if appropriate.
3. Explain what you tried already
If it helps you can pretend everyone else is stupid and needs step by step instructions with diagrams. Your problem makes sense to you, but the rest of us might lack context to really get it.
4. Explain what you expected to happen
If you got a result you didn't expect, try to explain what it was. Sometimes it's simple (app shouldn't crash). Sometimes it's less tangible. Try to explain what you really wanted to accomplish.
5. Explain what happened instead.
This is often pretty simple. "App Crashed/I got an error". Be sure to be descriptive. Including screen shots or error text when possible.
Conclusion
If you can include as much of this information as possible in help requests, the helpers can help you more effectively and faster.
