companion app - language
Hello Bungie,
Thanks for the companion app. As a german Guardian who plays games in english it would be nice to have a language option in the companion app too. Right now it is a mix of german and english inside the app (iOS), i guess due to settings on bungie.net.
So maybe it could be an option to choose the language inside the app in september? :)
I am posting here, because it wouldn't let me post in feedback, the app says i have to play Destiny before posting there :(

Same here… We need the app to have a language selector that makes it possible to set the app language to something different from the OS language… It may seem like a fringe request but for many it’s pretty messed up the way it is now. Using the system language is not an option for everyone. If the good people at Bungie weren’t monoglots they would recognize that need.

I have the same problem! I play in english and have to guess the names in german. Can you please add an language option?! The guys here are waiting for more than one year now and you don't even responded here... thank you! BTW: The translation to german is awefull! I hope you didn't pay anyone for that job...

So please bungie, create a settings option to choose in what language we want the companion to work, I just can't stand the brasilian portuguese anymore. Thanks

Yes, same issue, please allow for native language or english on the app. I'm echoing the request too. I can survive with it as it is, but it does take a bit of working out to recognize each piece of gear. Thanx, great app already though, grats on that.

Having the same problem (both beeing unable to post in feedback and being left with the german version of the app, which isn't really up to date - latest news from early june XD) the only workaround I have found so far is to change Your iOs language to english, which isn't the best solution for me.

3 RepliesYep, my native language is portuguese, although I play all my games in english. Everytime I wanna checkout the gear available with the vendors using Destiny Companion app it's a little frustrating when I don't recognize it by the names due to translation issues. Please give us a language switch option, for Traveler's sake!
