I'm about to finish my PC and I've been curious about this game for a while. Opinions?

It's OK. I'm like level 30. The biggest issue is that if you don't pay the subscription, you don't just not get content paying members do- content gets TAKEN from you. That's how they advertise it, too. Instead of saying 'subscribe and get more' they basically threaten you and say 'if you do not subscribe you will get far less.' And you feel it. So many features are taken. It's annoying.

I enjoyed it, raid bosses are really fun - and doing the nightmare of the hardest ones are challenging.
-
I just thought the trailers leading up to this game were phenomenal.
-
I liked it a lot but won't pay a subscription for any game. Free to play part is too limited for a pvp player.
-
Was it the novel or this game that ended up destroying Darth Revan's image because he went from his own motives to being another person that get's mind fucked?
-
In short. Beautiful story for all classes. Horrible when it comes to the MMO aspect.
-
I haven't played it, but it looks fun.

If you pay the subscription its a good game, otherwise its a bit annoying. Granted I started playing at the start when you had to have a subscription so I acknowledge that I may be a bit biased there.

It's not dreadful, but it ain't great either. I roleplay alot in that game, and it has a healthy population but all the updates they do nowadays are centered around the "Cartel Market" microtransaction store. The combat is exactly what you would expect from a traditional MMO. Press X to use Y skill. Tab to change target. Learn standard cookie-cutter rotation. Rinse, repeat. The only thing it really has going for it in terms of combat is the space PVP. But, again, you can essentially buy all the best ships using real $...pay2win, very much. Not a big fan of the game anymore.

Pretty standard as far as MMOs go. The only thing that really sets it apart is the fact that it's Star Wars, but that novelty runs out after about a week. It's not bad, but there much better MMOs out there.

It's not awful, but I wouldn't say it's particularly good either. Pretty standard fare as far as an MMO goes, a genre I literally have no particular liking or enjoyment off. Once the novelty of it being Star Wars wears off (which happens pretty damn quickly), you see it for the dull grind-fest it is.

Wasn't great since they had to force it into a MMO, but a bulk of the story stuff was good. Everything is voice acted and it functions like the last one, but with a modern Bioware Dialogue system.
