Hello everyone! Recently I've noticed a small chirping noise when booting up my Xbox one , Does anyone else have a noise in the Xbox One?
-
Yes. Mine is making the sound right now.
-
Sometimes
-
Yep mines been doing that same low chirping noise for a few months now. I usually have a fan going in my room so it drowns it out because their chirp is very subtle.
-
I have this same problem. Started after playing destiny.
-
Yes, it sounds like "WHHHYYYY BUNGIE, WHY DID YOU BETRAY US?!?! WAAAAAHHH"
jkjk
-
Yea but I can't really hear him. He's locked in a cage with 5+ pillows and blankets covering it so yea, he doesn't really make much noise.
-
No, that thing is frighteningly quiet.
-
All fans make noise, the loudest ones are called fanboys.
-
Nope pretty quiet. Plus I have the turtle beach xo7 so that helps blocking outside noise. And for the most part it stays nice and cool
-
No, but mine is still in a box... at my local Best Buy and or Gamestop.
-
I don't have an Xbox One, but my 360 still sounds like a medium-sized airplane taking off.
-
Nope. The fan is as silent as a creeping death, even after playing the One for 4+ hours.
-
No, mine has never done that. Off-topic: Since when could Mentors move threads?
-
I've never heard my Xbox One, it's very quite and a BIG improvement over the 360 which currently sounds like it's trying to eat the disc inside even though I install my games.
-
A chirping noise? Are you sure you didn't trap a budgie in the Xbox
-
nope. i don't tend to stick my head directly over it to need to hear a 200mm PWM fan that only runs over 70*.

Edited by Lord of Admirals: 7/13/2014 8:52:19 PMJust the small whirring of the fan. Very easy to zone out.
-
Only thing I hear is a faint whirring of the fan. It goes whir real quiet like
-
No, clean your Xbox and keep it clean and in a well ventilated area
-
Yes, but it's not loud enough to be much of a distraction. When it does, a can of air works just fine.
-
If the XBox One is anything like the 360, that chirping might actually be the disk drive being spun around a few times real quick while the machine is booting. Not having an XBox One, I'm only guessing. Probably not something you should be concerned about, however. Additionally you might get more views in the future if you put a thread like this in #Gaming.
