IGN is showcasing Destiny for the month of July with daily coverage that began on the 7th. They release their coverage at about 9 am PDT Monday through Friday. You can find it yourself at http://www.ign.com/ or come here for the entire collection of links to the coverage as it is released.
I thought it would be nice to have all of the IGN coverage compiled in one place, so I will edit this topic and continue to add all the IGN coverage as it comes, starting with the day 2 coverage, since collectors edition and beta information is pretty well known by now. Feel free to let me know if I missed any relevant links.

The Venus crucible map Shores of Time was extensively showcased:

Rusted Lands was showcased, for whatever odd reason:

Rusted Lands gameplay
It's interesting to note that the player earned psn trophies while playing.

Today a Mars crucible map, Blind Watch was showcased:

Blind Watch gameplay
Interesting information was revealed about heavy ammo. It comes in ten seconds after the crucible announcer mentions it, and everyone in a 20 meter radius on a team receives heavy ammo when a member of that team activates the pickup.

The moon crucible map First Light, an alpha map, was toured today:
Developer walkthrough
First Light gameplay
First Light is the largest map that will be featured in the beta, as well as the only map that includes vehicles. The time of day can be different each time the map is loaded, which was also demonstrated in the previous crucible maps but I forgot to mention.
7/12-7/13
No coverage.
7/14
The companion app is featured:
Companion App
At around 2:30 the titan is shown to have 3 subclasses, pretty much confirming there are three subclasses per class.
7/15
A pretty useless video of well known tips was uploaded today:
Seven well known tips.
One interesting bit of information in the video is that there are five golden chests in the Cosmodrone area. Other than that, pretty disappointing day of coverage.

IGN recaps their experience with the beta:
Recap
Beta review
Text version of review
IGN contradicts itself on level cap with the text version of the review saying level 8 and the video stating level 7. Hylebos has a character at level 8, which seems to confirm a level 8 cap though (thanks to DigitalRegality for pointing this out).

Crucible mechanics are summarized:

Expect delay on further updates. I will not guarantee punctual updates once I have the beta on my ps4. I do however plan to continue updating, so come back for more later.
7/21
IGN has put up Xbox One footage:
"First 1080p Xbox One footage"
The video hasn't been uploaded to youtube for some reason. Sorry mobile users. The beta will apparently not be running at 1080p, but by release Xbox One users will have Destiny at 1080p.

That map is really nice. I imagine it will look much better in the final build.
-
The map is nice. Whoever was playing wasn't prepared weapon wise. That primary weapon is strong, but from the Alpha most people liked using kinetic guns that fired at a quick rate so most of the time he died before they could react properly. Also, while shotguns are very powerful I wouldn't recommend anything that charges. The player successfully used their shotgun a few times, but otherwise failed if he wasn't getting the drop on them in a situation where he had a teammates since the gun takes too long to finish the job. Great for wrecking shields, and most of the health with someone else, bad for a 1v1. In the MP I preferred to use a uncommon shotgun I got in a drop or delivered, I forget, that did void damage, but fired as soon as I pressed R2. Unlike the singleplayer you need to be quick, but methodical just as you would be in Halo with a power weapon. Just because you have it doesn't mean you have absolute advantage. I didn't see vehicles, but Super Abilities are great to reserve on vehicles as well. All three shots from the golden gun took out the tank on the Moon arena.

Not gana lie that map was beautiful, bungie knows how to make a map
-
I liked his comment about the special ammo concerns in the Alpha :)
-
The announcer has some character in his voice now. "HaHA! Guardians show not mercy" i think thats what he said.
-
I will run this map with my Hand Cannon.
-
I love the sky on Venus great job bungie
-
Is it just me, or did they change the sound of the Scout Rifle so that it sounds more potent when it's fired? I like it.
-
The person playing made it look kind of boring. That's why I was happy to play the alpha because watching some of these people play doesn't do the game justice
-
Now only if they stay away from forge type maps. I hated forge maps in halo mp. Boring bland colorless maps
-
Finally some more gameplay.
-
Very nice, I did not know this until recently, the announcer is actually a guardian in the tower. Also the special ammo coming in less is a good choice. On another note, are we going to be getting daily content from IGN everyday at 9 PDT?
-
Anyone notice how the guardians make sounds now, they'll grunt and stuff. Small things like that really immerse you. The commenter didn't talk as much. But still a lot. You could also hear your heartbeat when it got low enough! Looks really nice!
-
The guy playing is horrible at the game.
-
Onto my PS4, now that Fallout 3 has done downloading. No way I'm starting it before the beta, it'll probably consume my gaming the way Skyrim did.
-
gorgeous
-
I almost didnt see this thread. Time to use that hide feature! wait, there is a hide thread feature right?
-
It looks so beautiful ;_;
-
Thank IGN for wasting my time! PVP is all the same just indifferent locations! Omfg who the hell cares. How about something new not PVP! There is so much more to Destiny than this repetitive crap!
-
I couldn't watch past two minutes he was so bad at the game it was boring.
-
The way the guy played the game made it look boring.
-
They changed the timing of the ammo drops from the alpha
-
So far the three PvP maps look exactly what I like in FPS games.
-
It just me, or did it look like that doesn't know how to play a first person shooter?
-
I havent watched this yet, but does anyone know if you are a titan and you try to fist of havoc a vehicle that is about to run you over it will still run you over and kill you?
-
Edited with today's coverage.
