Yet Islam continues to take over the UK.

Edited by BasementDoor: 6/20/2014 8:06:57 AMThis is pretty stupid. Why not just say this: "There are many theories about how the world came to exist and how we came into being to inhabit it. We are not one hundred percent sure which theory is correct so we are going to educated you on each of the popular theories and let you choose for yourself." Just do that. And never speak of it again.

*Tips Fedora*
Personally I think that they should teach a more logical version of creationism theory. Like the possibility of an intelligent designer. But not religion.
-
Listen guys, I know the lot of you don't know agree with Creationism science, but you gotta know that this is the wrong thing to do, right? They're suppressing people's freedom of speech and religion. It's not right and it's a violation of people's rights. Just because you don't agree with something, you don't just ban it. Just accept that other people believe it and move on. You have your beliefs and that person has his own. The UK has gone a bit too far.
-
Uk has gone too far,as a Christian I believe that god created the earth in seven days, thus because of freedom of speech,I Should be able to speak freely about My lord and savior Jesus christ.
-
It's strange how I've never been tought creationism in my school. I live in Texas and I haven't ever come across it in public school. My biology teacher was adament on not offending anyone by teaching evolution. But the class was bad as heck, so that was the least of her worries.
-
The Christian belief of creationism has been proven, factually, to hold no basis in reality. Therefore, it has no place in the sciences.
-
Banning religion from being taught in science class. Who would have thunk? Wonder why it's so hard to get something similar passed in America.
-
Damn right what a load of rubbish, religious education should be banned next, just as fictitious as creationism.
-
Wow. Well they can teach macro evolution which has never been observed by anyone ever in the entire existence of the world as we know it. Neither are science, so neither should be taught. Truth is, you can only believe in either one.
-
Seeing as it's not a science, nothing wrong here.
-
Hooray!
-
Seeing as how Creationism isn't a Science, but a yet another belief wrapped in the bean burrito that is Western Monotheism, I don't see how it ever had a place in schools to begin with...
-
Why was it in science classes to begin with?
-
Good.
-
Good. Although I dont even remember creationism being taught in biology.
-
Edited by Engrapadora: 6/18/2014 2:04:15 PMAnd the UK continues to slip as it bans good Christian values in favor of encouraging Islamism. You guys are all going to hell.
-
Woohoo! The UK officially has more sense than the US.
-
What kind of 'schools' were teaching it in Science in the first place?
-
It's only private schools. Public school curriculum doesn't reach it, I haven't done RE since year 3 (Over 8 years ago)
