So I was having a look at the Grimoire cards on the Destiny Alpha site (sorry guys who don't have access!) to see if there was anything I could find that they might have left in by accident and I came across the attached image..
Note how there are 9 Grenade types already listed, and at the top it says 9/18.. It seems we might be looking at a total of 18 different types of Grenades?..
I also came across this.. Earth, The City and.. Jupiter?!
Who thinks it'd be cool to see some of Europa in the Beta? *puts hand up*

Edited by CorrosiveDrop4: 6/23/2014 4:38:42 PM18 seems good. 3 grenade variations per focus, 2 Foci per class, 3 classes. 3•2•3=18.

I actually saw that Jupiter card on the Alpha site as well. As others have said, I doubt we will go to Jupiter itself, but it would be bad ass to visit one of its moons!
-
If jupiter isnt a planet we can visit yet then maybe that card is a hint at a later possible dlc expansion?
-
Europa in Destiny huh?
-
Kay, lets think about this. THREE grenades per focus SIX focuses (or foci, whatever) 3*6=18.
-
Jupiter would be cool, but its a gas planet, so you can't really "step" onto it's surface. Maybe there should be floating, abandon sky cities instead?
-
There was a small purple planet called reef on a pic of the map, maybe one of Jupiters moons.
-
The other 9 grenade types are probably from the three other sub classes
-
What is the link to the Alpha site?

There is that Europa concept art. Its possible. I'm a sucker for frozen wastelands.

Edited by MistWave: 6/17/2014 3:11:13 PMEach subclass have 3 grenade options. Each class have 2 subclass, so 6 different grenades for each guardian. Now, we have 3 kind of guardian: Hunter, Titan & warlock. If we do 3 times 6 (3 • 6 = 18). /cheers P.s.:
Jupiter is primarily composed of hydrogen with a quarter of its mass being helium, although helium only comprises about a tenth of the number of molecules. It may also have a rocky core of heavier elements,[15] but like the other gas giants, Jupiter lacks a well-defined solid surface.
Now Maybe something can be from Jupiter or it is more easy to do 1 card for Jupiter compared to 67 cards for all the moons Jupiter have...

I'm pretty sure we were going to be exploring some hellmouth or something for the beta. It sounds familiar. I do think it's on earths moon also. I could be wrong though.

Edited by deemark: 6/17/2014 2:58:22 PMYou know this is probally not all of grenades but the ones only in alpha. Thx val
-
3 grenades per subclass 6 subclasses in alpha ( although 3 were inaccessible due to level cap) That's 18

Yay Old Russia is cool and all but I really want something more for the beta. It's at least a nice confirmation Jupiter is still in the game. Haven't seen anything from it since those early concept art pieces.

Yeah the grimoire thing is pretty cool, but the vast majority of my cards have been redacted. Am I the only one with this problem or is everyone's collection like that?
