343i still hasn't learned from their mistakes.
I already know I'm gonna get A LOT of shit for making this thread, but here it goes.

That's right. If you want everything, you're not gonna be able to get it unless you manually buy everything separately. Not to mention that these are SKULLS, something that should SHIP with the game, for everyone. In fact, these are game-breaking skulls, ones that change the entire experience, and will completely destroy the worth of completing campaign on a harder difficulty.
Don't get me wrong, fun stuff like this is nice, but it should be limited so that people can't put shit like the Bandana skull on and finish campaign on Legendary with ease.
Nobody liked Halo 4's retailer-exclusive preorder bonuses, so why the hell did they repeat this?

4 RepliesCasuals. Casuals everywhere. Get real with it. If you play through Legendary difficulty using bandana, you are a loser on so many levels it isn't even funny. Grow some balls and do it properly. No cheats. No skulls. No bullshit. Just old school Legendary difficulty. That way you can actually have some pride in yourself when you finish.

4 RepliesBandanna should only be unlocked after completing all of the campaigns on Legendary. It made the CEA campaign so damn easy on Legendary. I WILL use it considering I have the option. I just think it's kinda bs. I nade spammed the library with ease. It honestly felt like I was playing the game on super easy mode. Maybe turn off achievements when these pre-order skulls are in use. Their better be a way to unlock all of the pre-order skulls without pre-ordering from everywhere.....

2 RepliesI'm an experienced Halo player and even with bandana on I can't go through Halo CEA with ease. I'd go with bandana only to keep weapons I love using like my sniper rifle and energy sword for example.

Some here think that the skull is fine, but retailer-exclusive content is bad; some people think that retailer-exclusive content is fine, but the skull is game-breaking; some people here think skulls like this should be included by default, and are fine with it being game-breaking and being retailer-exclusive content. Those are all fine. However, when you come in here and shit-fling insults and tell me EXACTLY what I was prepared to hear, which is "BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU GOT, STOP COMPLAINING AND SHITTY ON 343i," etc. etc., you're the one who looks like a huge ignorant idiot who can't put up a single good rebuttal. I made this thread thinking it would die after 50 posts like all my other threads, but I was wrong, and now people think I'm making such a huge deal out of this issue, like it's a game-changer when it comes to my purchasing decision. Let me tell you it's [b][u]not[/b][/u]! Don't put words in my mouth. I'm not going to bring something like this up in any sort of "anti-343i" post, because they've done a LOT worse stuff than this. Personally didn't mind the retailer specific exclusive armors in Halo, and while the bandana skull is more powerful than others, they all cheapen the experience, so I wouldn't use any anyway. How other folks play their game doesn't affect me, so I really don't care about these pre-order bonuses either. This really isn't a big deal.

1 ReplyI have no real problem with retailer specific pre-order bonuses. Hell, I have no problem with Skulls being those bonuses. What I have a problem with is that one of these Skulls is the bandanna skull. The damn thing invalidates being able to complete the game on legendary because it lets anyone do it with an Infinite Rocket Launcher, Sniper, FRG, Sword etc. (BTW, this would be a problem if it was in the game normally anyway)
