if my internet is not so stable sometimes, does that affects my gameplay? like does that affects my solo campaign?

If you will indulge me, my hypothesis is that it should not make a big deal. The game and its data is held on the game disk, not the server. This means if there are no other players around you, then you game has no need to use large amounts of data. However, if you come across a public event, or a group of other players, you might experience lag. Also if your internet is so bad to the point that you sometimes lose connection to Xbox live or PSN, then you will probably become disconnected from the servers, so you might want to replace you internet/router in that situation. Just my 2 cents.
You might have more luck in #Support.
Edited by v_BattleScars_v: 5/27/2014 12:10:56 AMThey said in a video that when you encounter a public event that you'll be thrown into matchmaking(it's seamless no menu or anything just people pop in). So you may be able to play offline, not sure though. I couldn't find the video to link it but it's on YouTube and it's 2013 e3 gameplay so it may have changed.

Time to upgrade your internet.

Ethernet that shit if you have to!

Playing Destiny (according to all reports) will require an Internet connection during the game. Solo or group play.

Whether or not you decide to solo in Destiny, you will have to have an active internet connection to play. You'll always be connected to the main servers.
