◊ Some of you will remember the red flaming helmets from Halo 3, and the red and blue ones from Halo Reach. The flames really defined those who who had the from those who did not. I think it would be cool to see something similar in Destiny where a certain "effect" was applied to certain members of the B-Net community. This effect could not simply be earned by belonging to B-Net, as all those who signed up for the beta would have it. But instead it would be earned, either by years of membership on B-Net, or by some other milestone.
◊ This "effect" could also come in multiple tiers, based on the progress made towards these on site milestones.
◊ Do you think this is a good idea, and what should the effect be?
◊Some recommendations have been:
Special Clothes, Armor, and Player nameplates.
◊On a separate note I was thinking that it would be cool If these items, and other in game items would be customizable with an emblem from one of the groups we belong to on B-Net. This could be improved upon by letting certain bigger groups create their own logo to represent themselves on B-Net, however these emblems could be passed by the ninjas to make sure they were appropriate and of high quality.

Ill be a 7 year member shortly after launch, and we all know that bungie loves the number 7. Im excited to see what it does for me in game.
-
Years on the site would be a bad idea seeing as how playstation players are new to bungie

They have that. They are called Beta Codes and they redeem special in-game items and you can only redeem them on b.net
-
PORCHES WOULD BE A GOOD REWARD.
-
I want a piece of chest armor with a picture of a Gibson Les Paul gold top on the front.
-
Porch DLC.
-
The reward should be for people who have been on here following for at least a year. I mean I haven't been on B-net long but I was playing Halo before it. I just didn't realise I was a bungie fan and not a halo fan until halo 4. From then on I have been on B-net.

Porch op

The longer you've been a member the cooler stuff you should get.
-
I like the flames but it should be for those who have been a member for at least a year. That way there won't be a bunch of people who just created an account for the flames (although I guess they can still do that it will just take a while). Different colors would be cool too. Maybe Orange for 1+ year(s), Green for 4+, Blue for Bungie.

This is void because to play destiny you need a B.net account like EA games with origin accounts
-
I'd like this as a small community thank you, however, it couldn't work based on being on B.net. I've had an account for years but, I sold my xbox some time ago and now longer can use that gamer tag. So being a B.net member for a long time is out as a fair option especially since many new B.net members are PSN gamers (like myself).

If you were a Mythic during the old Bnet you should get a top-tier weapon automatically gifted to you.
-
All old Mythic members' weapons do 50% damage and they cannot be revived.
-
Give the All-Stars something!
-
I think it would be cool if Bungie rewarded members based on the year counter for their b.net accounts but the reward would have to be something that wouldn't give the user an "edge" over others. I would like to see exclusive capes for hunters, arm bands for warlocks and badges for titans. (nothing like flaming helmets or inclement weather from Halo: Reach)
-
10 year vets should get something.
-
It should be for all beta participants, showing that we were the first. And yes, purely aesthetic.
-
What I learned from this poll is that 43% of the Bungie.net audience thinks they are distinguished members. Odd.
-
It'd be great to get something for being around for a long time. You know what that is? Destiny. Oh, and I have all these memories of playing these other awesome games I've been playing. Like Halo:CE through Halo:Reach. The haves would like to have more. The have nots want to ensure no one has anything that they don't have. It's not worth the trouble. Get off my lawn! JTS

Former Mythic members should get blue hats to replace the ones stolen from us.
-
The Beta should include epic events to participate in, which should be the events echoed through the full game. Like how in other online games there is some epic war that we missed.

Hell yeah I loved the shit out of my blue flaming haunted helmet and bungie nametag on reach! I would love more!
