Continuing with my story

Previous chapter. Back tonight with the next chapter. It's a short one. So, Chapter Two: Liberty. Did I mention that I love making little references?
There was a gentle green light. It came from the wall, where it seemed to be coming out of the bricks. I was on a soft pile of fur.... oh poops. That's the whole animal. And I think it's sleeping a bit more soundly than I want to be. Jumping with the grace of a drunken frog, I retreated to the nearest wall. In front of me were a dozen dead beasts, none of whom I could name. Sliding down till in a fetal position, I looked to my side and saw a massive pale serpent, and the idea of playing dead ran through my head before I fainted. Shining lights and bright flames of lanterns hurt my head, and slowly I opened my eyes. I watched the walls slide past for a time before I thought anything of it. Sitting painfully up, I found myself in a line of battered creatures, all dead or nearly so. It took a few moments for me to remember I was moving, and another to realize I was looking back at where I was coming from. A sharp, chemical smell made me gag, and, turning around, I saw a white cloud being sprayed down from metal spouts on the ceiling. I got a lung full of cloying miasma, sending me coughing and trying to hold my breath as I went through.

"Yahu, wake. Wake, yes?" Hurhnhnmsh... "Ha! Mai-yahu ten boon? Va tes! Ha, he he!" The next bit of time was blacking out, only to wake up and have soup poured down my throat, and then passing out again. My dreams were strange and twisted, but the soup was delicious. I don't know why, but I woke up and stayed awake. I sat for a time, not doing much of anything. Looking around wasn't too entertaining, as the only piece of furniture in this white walled room was a white bed, with a dim yellowish light glowing on the wall. I guess whomever lives here likes cleanliness more than colorfulness. Eventually nothing got boring and I figured that I may as well stand up. A few minutes of floundering around and making a fool of myself put me on my shaky legs. There was some kind of smooth wood on the floor, which was quite cold on my feet. I moved towards the door to leave. Upon further examination, I may have had an oversight. There was no door! What kind of idiot builds a room with no door! "What the heck is this?!?" Of course, a wall slid away just after I said that, and an unbelievably tall and thin man walked in with a bowl of soup. "Ah, awakened you are, yahu?"
