I am going to my cousins house in 3 days and we are going to system link 2 xbox's together so that we can play 4 player CoD zombies and firefight.
I love CoD zombies because players get to respawn after each round, so when one player dies, he doesn't have to wait a long amount of time before respawning.
I have 3 questions:
1. In terms of player lives / player respawning, how does firefight work? Is it the same as CoD where every player respawns after the round?
2. If firefight in ODST and Reach are different, what's the difference?
3. Which one would you say is more fun, ODST or Reach firefight? And why?
Any information will be helpful. (I'm more of a Halo 3 and Halo 2 guy and I didn't play firefight that much so I kinda forgot how it works).

1)I believe there are 10 lives shared between everyone you are playing with. You respawn after 5 secs. If ur out of lives you respawn after that round 2)in reach you could customize it. Odst gameplay Drones No elites Not a badass More challenging 3) I liked them both in their own way but reach is my favorite simply because of customization

ODST's was much better, but Reach offers customization.

Reach took the fun and challenge out of it considering you could just make yourself basically invincible with unlimited ammo and lives.

Edited by Ryouji Gunblade: 4/27/2014 10:37:30 PMODST had a fixed progression of skulls that always ended in all skulls on after a few sets. Reach allowed you to customize loadouts, settings, and waves, but not individual sets. After completing a set, it would start over rather than continue to add more skulls. So it became less about progression. However, now you can fight other players in Firefight versus, or protect generators. Then Halo 4 threw away the whole concept in favor of eggheads.

To answer your questions: 1. It's not at all like Zombies or Extinction (although I haven't played Extinction yet so I wouldn't know what it's like). There is a pool of lives at the start of the game that each player uses when he or she dies, and, as far as I can remember, is replenished by the amount of people playing after each round. 2. At the very core of Firefight, the only difference is that Reach has an immensely larger amount of customization than ODST. In the latter, you can only choose the difficulty, the map, and what silver skulls are on. 3. Personally I think ODST's is a lot more fun. Yes, Reach has more customization, but it lacks the survival challenge that its predecessor has. To me, Reach FF is just a grind.

Reach has custom firefight. The amounts of lives, weapons, ammo, AA's and even what enemies spawn are completely up to you.

ODST is tougher, but Reach has crazy options. I think you should play both.

One is good one isn't

Edited by Guardian7477: 4/27/2014 7:58:07 PMOne is customizable and the other isn't. Reach is more fun. Have you played ff versus? It is fun.
