(Theory) Marvel movies headed for Avengers Disassembled?
With chris evans (captain america), chris hemsworth (Thor) and Robert Downey Jr (iron man) all having their contracts end with avengers 3, does anyone else think the movies are heading for an avengers disassembled storyline? I know avengers 3 will finish the infinity gauntlet, but I think something will happen (cap dying?) and it will have the team disband as a result. The next team trilogy will probably follows different team and storyline. I'm thinking civil war. Also Hawkeye died in avengers disassembled, right? (so he could end up dying in the movie as well. It would explain why he's even in the movies in the first place. They have really underutilized that character!)

5 RepliesI think they've hinted that they would rather just make recasts than end the series from actors quitting and I don't blame them. They have big plans for the franchise and why should they scrap them just because RDJ doesn't want to play Iron Man anymore? They've already recasted Rhodie and the Hulk so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to see a new Hawkeye or Nick Fury eventually. Although some of the veteran cast members would leave a bigger void to fill so it'd hard to tell what they'll do.

1 ReplyI'll one up you and say that AoU maybe will be Disassembled and the Civil War in it. Its a possibility that Ultron could be behind the two events in the MCU. Wanda doesn't have to be a team mate to wig out and kill people. It could be Stark refounding SHIELD, with Cap and the Heroes against him. Then, as the dust settles, a new bad guy appears that calls for a dramatic close, Thanos with the Guantlet.

Any thoughts on how doctor strange and ant man will factor in the avengers 3? And what are they gonna do with Scarlett witch and quicksilver in phase 3? Solo movie or spin off movies?
