I'm curious to hear your feedback on which one had the best death. If none just pick "other" and name another cool character (from the Halo series) with a cool death
-The Director and NO MORE "JUN DIDN'T DIE" SHIT PLEASE.

The thing I never got about Jorge was, on my first play through, there was still an army dude left. There was no way he was going to make it out, why didn't he die? Losing a Spartan II is worse than losing 10 ships.
-
I though that Bungie did a great job of killing off the entire MM population with Reach. Nice one.
-
Kat. Everyone else's was cliche.
-The Director and NO MORE "JUN DIDN'T DIE" SHIT PLEASE.
Why did you put it then?, lol

Well for those that don't know.
This is all speculation, but very believable.
Emile's death was waaaaay more than just badassery. It was sad. He was very quiet through the majority of the game, and, though I'm not going into enough detail, he was apparently having an inner conflict about death. He was afraid to die. But his last words were, "I'm ready, how bout you?" Meaning that somewhere in those last few moments, he'd conquered his demons, and instead of cowering away from death, he embraced it.

When i first played reach i thought i had to survive till something happened
i guess that thing was being killed
-
Either George or Emile. Im going to vote Emile.
-
Obviously Kat
-
Juns death was never confirmed or explained, but it most likely did happen. I just wonder how he died, and Halsey didn't.
-
Noble 6 made the ultimate sacrifice to stay behind, help everyone leave reach, and died with honor
-
They all sucked
-
I think a emiles was best he died a brave death for his honor
-
Jorge:(lifts me up) Me: weeee!! Hey where we goin? Jorge: .....(keeps walking) Me: *clears throat* we're uh...getting a little close to the edge don't you think?? Jorge: (holds me out window) tell 'em to make it count. Me: Jorge!!! No!! Wait!! I have cookies! (Falls) YOU SONNOVA bi-*no sound in space*

Edited by Sarah: 7/17/2014 10:55:48 PMNoble 6: nice last stand. Emile: look behind you, moron. Carter: badass. Noble sacrifice. Kat: you asked for it. Watch out for snipers and be stealthy. Jorge: badass. Noble sacrifice. Jorge wins because he's a SPARTAN-II. If Carter was also a SPARTAN-II, they'd tie.
-
Honestly emile because he was ready. Are you?
-
Edited by Neconous: 7/21/2014 9:56:29 AMMaybe Jun did die, eventually, but it was never shown nor have we heard anything about his death. So, he shouldn't be an option.
-
IMO, all their deaths just felt pointless, even if noble. Of them though, I felt Jorge's was the most noble, with 6's being very close behind considering he went down fighting.
-
Spartans don't die , they're just missing in action
-
Jun didn't die though

Edited by Madman Mordo: 5/14/2014 3:26:37 PMhorhay > Kat > N6> Carter > Emilol Honestly, every one of them were pretty lackluster with the exception of maybe horhay, so it's like asking me to pick my favourite blade of grass. Emile's pretty much summed up to the stereotypical Independence Day cop out death with the "hurr ima take u down with mee aleeyuns" line, and the fact that he was the shittiest character in the game didn't help either. Kat's was jarring sure, but didn't hold a lot of emotional resonance with me since I never cared for the character. Carter's death just, "happened". I never felt happy nor sad about it. N6's was pretty cool, but again, not really a character at all and thus had no impact with me.

Gotta go with nobel prize #6.

Edited by Jphn_33: 7/21/2014 3:09:52 PMNoble 6. It just felt like such a moment of finality. All of your friends are dead. The covenant is taking over Reach, and pretty much everyone else is dead. To your knowledge, you are the last Spartan on Reach, fighting so others may live, slaughtering as many Covenant soldiers as you can to avenge those who you lost. And when they finally do get you, you know that you did all you could, and that there is still hope left for the universe. Plus, you die knowing those alien scum couldn't kill you without sending a whole swarm after you.
